Swiss Geoscience Meeting

Swiss Geoscience Meeting

The ASG coordinates the human geography presence at the annual Swiss Geoscience Meetings.

Every year, we feature a Swiss Human Geographies Keynote Lecture, alongside three parallel, one-day symposia dedicated to human geography.

This year, for SGM2024 Basel, our lineup is:

Human Geographies: Inequalities, social justice in/through education (convened by Sara Landolt and Itta Bauer)
Human Geographies: Housing in and beyond Switzerland (convened by Jessica Verheij and Josje Bouwmeester)
Human Geographies: Critical perspectives from the margins (convened by Mosè Cometta, Noa Levin, Giulia Scotto, Johannes Herburger, and Silvia Balzan)

Human geographers, and those with an affinity for the discipline, are invited to contribute.

Deadline for abstract submissions to the symposia is in August 2024. Keep an eye on the Swiss Human Geography mailing list for more details!

If you want to subscribe to the list, please write to owner-swisshumangeography@lists.geo.uzh.ch.

For further information, contact Sven Daniel Wolfe (see below).

We look forward to seeing you in Basel!
